Latest Update: Tata has launched the Nexon EV Max.
Tata Nexon EV Price: The EV is sold from Rs 14.79 lakh to Rs 19.24 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India).
Tata Nexon EV Variants: There are three trims on offer: XM, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux. It’s also available in select Dark variants. The Nexon Max is available in two broad variants: XZ+ and XZ+ Lux.
Tata Nexon EV Seating Capacity: It is a five seater.
Tata Nexon EV Battery, Electric Motor and Range: The Nexon EV makes use of Tata’s Ziptron EV powertrain technology, packed with a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery supply with a claimed range of 312km. The electric motor has a performance rating of 129PS and 245Nm. On the other hand, the Max variant makes use of a larger 40.5kWh battery pack, making 143PS and 250Nm. This gives the Nexon EV Max an ARAI claimed range of 437km.
Tata Nexon EV Charging: It takes 60 minutes to charge the EV from 0-80 percent using a fast DC charger. Whereas, the small home box wall charger will take 8 hours to charge the electric SUV from 20 to 80 percent. The Nexon EV Max gets the option of two chargers: a 3.3kWh and 7.2kWh fast charger. The 50kWh AC charger replenishes the battery from 0 to 80 percent under 60 minutes, while the 7.2kWh home charger takes about 6.5hrs to recharge the battery.
Tata Nexon EV Features: The Nexon EV features a semi-digital instrument cluster (with a 7-inch TFT display), auto AC, auto headlights, a sunroof, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and connected car technology. Features like cruise control, wireless phone charging, auto-dimming IRVM, an air purifier, ventilated front seats, and electronic parking brake with auto-hold function are exclusive to the Nexon EV Max.
